Last week we reported that OnePlus started pushing the Oreo update to the OnePlus 3/3T duo and the OnePlus 5.
Now all three phones are getting the Face Unlock feature that OnePlus introduced in their latest flagship.
Enabling the feature is quite easy. Just head to the Security menu in Settings, then select Smart Lock.
Trusted face option should be available, and it sets up with holding the phone at a face level in a room with normal light (not too bright or too dim). The phone can unlock even faster with “Improve the face” option.
With the latest OTA updates, three discontinued OnePlus phones have Android Oreo, while owners of the current flagship OnePlus 5T have to wait for the switch from Android Nougat 7.1.1.
