Even though the Pixel 2 XL is almost half a year old, it is still one of the best Android smartphones you can buy. It is also one of the more expensive Android smartphones around. Verizon hopes to mitigate that by giving you $300 back if you buy the phone on its network.
To net the discount, you must buy the Pixel 2 XL with monthly device payments. The $300 discount is then applied to your account as promo credit over 24 months. Even though the discount is broken up over two years, it lowers the 64GB Pixel 2 XL to $22 per month and the 128GB model to $27 per month.
In addition to the monthly promo credit, Verizon also includes the Google bundle that launched two weeks back. The bundle includes two free months of YouTube TV, a free Chromecast, and a free Google Home Mini.
Verizon will ship the Chromecast and Google Home Mini to your billing address within three to four weeks of your Pixel 2 XL purchase. Once you get the phone, make sure to visit this link for your free two months
After the two-month trial is over, you'll be on the hook for the YouTube TV monthly fee, which is currently $40.
Keep in mind that the Pixel 2 XL deal is only for new customers, though we do not know when it expires. Also, you have until June 30 to redeem the two-month YouTube TV trial.
As a quick recap, the Pixel 2 XL features a 6-inch, 18:9 display with a 2,880 x 1,440 resolution, a 12.2 MP camera, Snapdragon 835 processor, 4 GB of RAM, either 64 or 128 GB of storage, and a 3,520 mAh battery. The phone eliminates the headphone jack, but features stereo front-facing speakers.
