Huawei P20 lite's price in India leaks

In less than 24 hours, Huawei will officially announce the P20 Pro and P20 lite for the Indian market. And if you've been impatiently waiting to find out how much the lite model will cost in the subcontinent, this is for you.

According to a last-minute leak from Amazon's arm in the country, you will have to pay INR 19,999 for a P20 lite in India. That's not a bad price at all. At the current exchange rates, it translates into $300 or €245.

For comparison's sake, note that the same handset has a recommended retail price in the EU of €369. So if this pans out, if you

purchase a P20 lite in India you're getting a much better deal than people from other parts of the world.

Of course, that's not an accident, seeing how extremely competitive this segment of the smartphone market is in the subcontinent. The P20 lite will be exclusive to Amazon, and it boasts a 5.84-inch 1,080x2,280 touchscreen with a notch, the Kirin 659 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 32 or 64GB of storage, a 16 MP + 2 MP dual rear camera setup, and a 24 MP selfie snapper - specially for India, as the international model has to make do with a 16 MP unit.
