Announced just yesterday, the Xiaomi Black Shark has already reached 1 million registrations. The gaming phone will launch soon – midnight today in fact.
It seems that really resonated with fans – it’s the most affordable way to get a Snapdragon 845 chipset, just CNY 3,000 ($480/€385). And we suspect that even non-gamers are looking at the 4,000 mAh battery with interest.

Do gaming phones have a future? Well, we’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see how many of those registrations are converted to sales, but with numbers like this after just a short teaser campaign, things are looking bright for the Black Shark.
