The OnePlus 6 isn't compatible with major U.S. carriers Verizon or Sprint. Like its predecessors, you'll have to use OnePlus' latest flagship with a SIM card from GSM carriers like T-Mobile and AT&T.

The information arrives via the official OnePlus 6 website, where the company notes that only one other carrier, U.S. Cellular, supports the new device.

The news won't come as a surprise to long-time OnePlus fans as the OEM's devices have historically been incompatible with CDMA carriers, but it may disappoint newcomers looking to pick up the device on another network. It means Google's Project Fi is out of the window too.

Both VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling are available through T-Mobile, though, if it's any conciliation.
