Gameloft has released Asphalt 9: Legends a full day ahead of its release date of July 26. The game is now live on both App Store and Play Store, and can be downloaded for free on compatible devices. Whether it's a mistake or not, we don't know, but at least you get to play the game ahead of release.
Legends is the latest in the long-running series of mobile games. The new title brings the usual suite of improvements, ranging from new set of licensed vehicles (about 50 of them), new tracks and locations, a complete overhaul of graphics with new visual features thrown in and some new online features such as 7 people multiplayer and ability to form clubs with other players.
The game had a soft launch in a few regions but is now being released worldwide.
Asphalt 9 is 1.5GB download on both platforms, so you're going to need a good internet connection or plenty of patience.
There is also supposed to be a Windows 10 version of the game, but as of this writing only the iOS and Android versions are live and the Windows 10 version is either not live or extremely hard to find. We'll update the article whenever it is available.
You can download the game from the links below.
