  • A TENAA listing has revealed the specs for a phone thought to be the Honor 8X.
  • The phone will be notable due to its huge 7.12-inch display.
  • Other details revealed include its RAM, storage, and camera setup.

Specs for a new Honor phone codenamed Honor ARE-AL00 have arrived on TENAA. The listing was spotted by TechAndroids (via GSMArena), who speculates that it could be the as yet unannounced Honor 8X or the Honor 8X Max. There are a ton of details about the phone on TENAA, most notably its absolutely huge 7.12-inch 2,244 x 1,080 display.

Pictures included with the listing suggest the size of the device will be kept manageable due to a small, Essential Phone-like notch. The pictures also show a centrally-placed rear fingerprint sensor.

The listing says the phone will be powered by a 4,900mAh battery — necessary for the huge display — and a 1.8GHz octa-core processor. It also says the phone will have 4GB RAM and

64GB storage.

The phone will come with an 8MP front-facing camera and a 16MP and 2MP rear dual camera, according to what's on TENAA. It also appears set to come with Android 8.1 out of the box and will be available in blue, black, and red.

Editor's Pick

There is no price mentioned. However, should the phone indeed be the Honor 8X, it could cost similar to last year's Honor 7X, which was around $200 upon release.

Should this be the case, it would offer buyers a large-screen Honor experience for much less than the price of the Honor Note 10 and its 6.95-inch display.
