- The Misfit Vapor 2 has leaked on an online retailer's website.
- The smartwatch features a larger display, smaller bezels, built-in GPS and heart-rate sensor.
- It's unclear if the wearable will ship with the new Snapdragon 3100 CPU or the outdated processor.
As we near the one-year anniversary of the Misfit Vapor, its successor has shown up on an online retailer's website (via Reddit). While the listing doesn't provide information about the wearable's internals, it does give us a good look at the updated hardware, color options, and pricing.
First and foremost, compared to the outgoing models, the Misfit Vapor 2 comes with larger displays and thinner bezels according to the device's description. While the store's listings don't state each device's exact screen sizes, we do know that the larger model features a 454 x 454 resolution while the smaller variant sports a 390 x 390p display.
What really made the first-gen Misfit Vapor standout in the crowd of Wear OS devices was its touch-sensitive bezel that allowed users to scroll through the watch's interface. As the company has increased the size of the display and shrunk the bezel, there's a good chance that this feature has been removed — especially since it isn't mentioned anywhere on the retailer's listing.
Fortunately, the button on the right side of the wearable looks like it was able to rotate. As we've seen with other smartwatches, using the crown to navigate the device is better than always having to scroll on the tiny touchscreen.
Also thanks to the retailer, we know that both Vapor 2 devices will be available with different case color options and watch bands. For cases, it looks like you'll have to choose between black, silver, and rose gold. There are a lot of band options to choose from, though, including some made out of metal, leather, and rubber. Each device works with 20mm bands so you will be able to swap these out for any strap of your choosing.
Several of the design options can be seen below.

Something to note for internals is that the listing for these watches refers to them as fourth generation Wear OS devices from the Fossil Group. While it means that these wearables come with a heart-rate sensor, GPS, and NFC for Google Pay built-in, it also leads us to believe that they'll ship with the old Snapdragon 2100 CPU and not the newly announced 3100 processor.
The watches also recently made it through the FCC, but we couldn't find any additional information about the smartwatch within the agency's various reports and documents.
While we'll have to wait for Misfit to announce the watches to know the Vapor 2's exact price tag, but the online retailer has all of the wearables listed somewhere between €250 and €230 ($290-$265). The price will vary depending on which size device you choose and the included watch band.
What do you think about the second-gen Misfit Vapor? If it ships with the outdated Snapdragon 2100 process, is it dead on arrival? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below!
