Last week we got a Nokia Plus phone, just not the model we expected. The Nokia 7.1 Plus, aka Nokia X7, really is coming and soon too – tomorrow! That’s its launch in China and, if history is any indication, other markets will get it in a month.
Unlike the previous vague teasers, this one straight up shows the phone. Not that we expected a radical redesign from the non-Plus model. Still, it brings several improvements like a larger 6.18” notched display, faster Snapdragon 710 chipset, bigger 3,400mAh battery, improved 12+13MP dual camera on the back and a 20MP selfie camera in the notch.

The teaser images (from what we Google Translate told us) tout the dual camera, long battery life, powerful speakers and simple UI.
As for a launch outside of China, the Nokia X6 was unveiled in mid-May in China, a teaser campaign started in India a month later and sales began two weeks later. The timeline for the X7/7.1 Plus will likely be similar, which means an end of November launch.
