After venturing in the mid-range flagship segment with Eluga X1 and Eluga X1 Pro earlier this month, Panasonic has now launched two mid-range devices – Panasonic Eluga Z1 and Z1 Pro.
The two phones are almost the same except in RAM and internal storage. The Eluga Z1 packs in 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage while the Eluga Z1 Pro packs in 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.
Mid-range Specifications
Both smartphones sport a 6.19-inch HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and are powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 processor. The highlight of the devices is its 4000mAh massive battery.
There's 13MP + 2MP dual cameras at the back and an 8MP front camera with flash. The smartphones pack in several camera modes like bokeh, time lapse, slow motion, beauty mode, back light, live photos, group selfie, and more.

Software
The Eluga Z1 and Z1 Pro run Android 8.1 Oreo and come with ARBO Hub, Panasonic's proprietary AI-powered hub that provides users access to multiple apps and services on a single platform.
The company claims that the platform is powered by Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and learns the user preferences and makes recommendations based on areas of interest. Panasonic has already partnered with Accuweather, Uber, Ola, Newspoint, Mobikwik, and Gamezop and the list is constantly expanding to a much larger gamut of services.
Pricing and Availability
The Panasonic Eluga Z1 and Z1 Pro are available in three color variants – Black, Gold, and Blue color – and will go on sale at all leading retail outlets across the country starting October 31. The Eluga Z1 is priced at 14,490 rupees ($199) while the Eluga Z1 Pro is priced at 17,490 rupees ($239).
