Black Friday is associated with lining up at stores to buy heavily discounted stuff, but there’s no rule that says digital stores can’t take part (plus, no lines!). Google Play is offering deals on apps, games, movies, TV shows and books.
The deals vary per country and not every country can get in on the action. Go here, if you get an error page, you’re not invited (sorry). So, here are some cheap ways to avoid talking to your family over the weekend.
Premium games are up to 80% off with entries from some of the world’s largest franchises. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is $1.49/€1.49, Star Wars: KOTOR is $2.99/€2.99 and, if you’re looking for something

Or you can catch up with TV shows including Game of Thrones and American Horror Story or rent a movie for $0.99. You can sign up for Starz and the first three months you’ll pay only $5 a month.
If you prefer books – text or audio – those are discounted as well.
