First it was the vivo NEX with a slider selfie shooter, then in a week, Oppo Find X arrived with all cameras tucked in the pop-up mechanism. ZTE’s subsidiary nubia got rid of any moving parts and just slapped a secondary display on the back of the nubia X in the quest to have both bezel-less display and good quality selfies.
It appears vivo really liked this idea, because a photo leaked on Weibo, suggesting a NEX 2 is on its way with one screen on each side. And on top of that, it is also likely to have three cameras on the back.
By adding a second display, companies essentially remove the need of selfie shooters. You can video call people or take selfies with the rear screen, while stick to work and entertainment on your huge front panel.

ZTE nubia X did a decent job masking the screen edges
It is way too early for specs, but the phone will most likely have Snapdragon 845 chipset. If vivo is going all-in, then we should also expect 8 GB RAM and plenty of storage. The main display appears to be similar to the 6.59” AMOLED panel on the vivo NEX S, while the secondary seems to have 16:9 ratio in order to make room for the three cameras on top and vivo logo on the bottom.
