Last week was the last in a series of intense, hardware packed ones, whereas this one was more subdued.
It lacked huge phone announcements that were weeks in the making but it did still bring a few exciting news.
Chief among those was Samsung's annual developers conference (SDC 2018) which brought a glimpse of Samsung's foldable OLED smartphone, Samsung's vision for its future software, dubbed One UI and a look at Bixby and its future.
Samsung also showed its concept for screen notches in its new Infinity displays - the Infinity-U and Infinity-V notches that are centered in the screen's top, the new Infinity-O notch, which has a circular notch inside the display and the New Infinity concept, which is completely notchless.
In other news we saw renders of what could be the first true Nokia flagship for 2018 (sorry, Nokia 8 Sirocco), the Nokia 9. The phone looks like nothing else with its penta camera, and that's saying something in late 2018.
Xiaomi took another step towards world domination with its move to the UK market this week. It also showed Apple AirPods rivals in the $30 Mi AirDots.
Meanwhile OnePlus revealed the Thunder Purple 6T, which will launch in China first.
The new Apple iPad Pro crushed the charts over at AnTuTu and posted a result that's 50% higher than the iPhone XS Max.
A few other minor news rounded off the week - you can see them in the top articles below. See you in a week!
The One UI has been developed with the help from Google and Android developers to make the most out of the flexible display.
The back is pretty busy with five cameras and a flash, but there's no fingerprint reader on it - instead that's on the front.
At its developer conference the company teased three different notch types that it will use in the near future.

They offer up to 12 hours of battery life with the carrying case.
If the images are real, the front-facing camera might go on the right side, throwing any aesthetics in the trash bin.
But getting closer, if only iOS would pick up the slack. The accessories - Pencil and Smart Keyboard Folio - were ruled essential.
