Geekbench reveals that Oppo is working on a Snapdragon 855-powered phone as well. Oppo “Poseidon” is the code name of the device is question.

As usual, we don’t put too much stock in benchmark results with non-final software, but the phone is doing quite fine. Here’s how it compares to other recently-leaked S855 phones.
GeekBench 4.1 (single-core)
Higher is better
- Oppo "Poseidon"
3810 - Xiaomi "Cepheus"
3524 - Sony Xperia XZ4
3497 - Lenovo Z5 Pro GT
3284
GeekBench 4.1
(multi-core)
Higher is better
- Lenovo Z5 Pro GT
12801 - Xiaomi "Cepheus"
11260 - Oppo "Poseidon"
10963 - Lenovo Z5 Pro GT
10237
The Poseidon could be a follow-up to the Oppo Find X, the only recent Oppo phone to use a Snapdragon 8xx chipset (the R17 series goes down to 7xx and 6xx chips).
