Sony is back at the MWC. Last year it unveiled the XZ2 and XZ2 Compact, this year it will be embracing a new perspective. The new 21:9 CinemaWide displays have leaked multiple times – they will be featured both on the flagship Xperia 1 (aka XZ4) as well as the mid-range Xperia 10 and 10 Plus (aka XA3).
The event starts at 7:30 GMT and will run for about 45 minutes. Those three quarters of an hours will be tightly packed as Sony needs to unveil its first first triple camera phone
Will a new Xperia Compact go up on stage? We’ve seen cases for it and CAD-based renders, but the rumors dried up recently (plus, a Sony exec made some telling comments). Either way we will be in the audience and will do a hands-on review with any new Xperia phones as soon as possible.
