It looks like with its next flagship, Xiaomi will focus more on design than it did with the Mi 8. Xiaomi's Product Director Wang Teng Thomas divulged that the Mi 9 will be designed by the person behind the Mi 6 - Mi Liu.
The Mi 6 was undoubtedly Xiaomi's best-looking flagship (sorry Mi Mix) with its seamless mirror finish, its quad-curved glass and its Blue and Gold paint job.

The Mi 9 should be right around the corner. We've seen purported renders of it, we expect it to have a triple camera (including a
href="https://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_mi_9_leak_reveals_all_of_its_specs_including_48_mp_main_camera_and_32w_fast_charging-news-34922.php">main 48MP one), a Snapdragon 855 chipset and very fast charging.
Xiaomi will likely wait until after the MWC at the end of this month to unveil the Mi 9.
