The Google Pixel 3a series might be one of the best mid-range smartphones in quite some time. Amazon is willing to sweeten the deal though, tossing in a $100 gift card when you purchase the Pixel 3a XL from the online retailer.
Amazon's offer is for any Pixel 3a XL (e.g. Just Black, Clearly White, or Purple-ish), and will set you back $479. Oddly enough, buying the phone without the gift card will cost you $469; you're essentially paying $10 for a $100 gift card. Do note that the retailer isn't accepting returns or refunds for the gift card, but it has no fees or expiration date.
It's also worth noting that the phone ships in one to three weeks, so you'll need to wait a while. Those who can't wait always have several other options at their disposal.
Android Authority's Dhruv Bhutani praised the phone in his Pixel 3a XL review, noting that it managed to offer the same Pixel experience as the Pixel 3. But Dhruv pointed out that the phone was a less attractive proposition in markets like India, owing to stiff competition from affordable flagships.
Google has still managed to deliver what is arguably the best camera in a $400 smartphone.
