Samsung Galaxy A80 rumored to launch in India on June 15

The Samsung Galaxy A80 unveiled in April is yet to hit the shelves in the Indian market. But if the latest report is to be believed, we will see this smartphone make its debut in the sub-continent on June 15.

Furthermore, the Galaxy A80 comes in lone 8GB/128GB configuration, but the report states that it will be available in two variants in India which will be priced at INR39,990 ($575) and INR44,990 ($647).

A report from yesterday stated that Samsung would hold preview events in India on June 8 and 9, which will then be followed by a launch event. So today's information aligns well with that bit.

The Galaxy A80 has Snapdragon 730 SoC under the hood and it sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED notch-less display. The smartphone also comes with a rotating pop-up dual camera setup at the back which is its key selling point. It's a combination of 48MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, and 3D ToF units.
