Asus has rolled out a new update for the ZenFone 6 (known as Asus 6z in India), which comes bearing version 17.1810.2003.144.

The new firmware bumps up the Android security patch level on the ZenFone 6 to March 2020 and enables VoWiFi for Reliance Jio users in India and Tele2 customers in Sweden. The latter also get VoLTE.
Additionally, the new build optimizes the system stability and you will now see a pop-up when third-party apps running in the background request front camera access.

The update, weighing around 95MB in size, is rolling out for the Indian, European and global
units. It should reach all the devices in a few days but those who can't wait for the update prompt can head to the Settings > System menu and tap on System updates to check for it manually.
