Google has involuntarily showcased the Pixel 4a smartphone earlier this month, and we’re pretty sure the launch is right around the corner. Now, a Twitter tipster is claiming the phone will be revealed on August 3, which is in seven days time.
According to @jon_prosser, his information from 2.5 weeks ago about the date is 100% correct. He raised the question whether Google has pushed off the launch too much because the predecessor Pixel 3a was introduced in early May and launched just a week after the introduction.
The Pixel 4a will have a 3,140 mAh battery with 18W fast charging, and one camera on the back, taking up way too much room in the upper left corner. The front will come with a single punch hole for the selfie camera and will have a 5.7-5.8” diagonal with slimmer bezels than the Pixel 3a.
