The latest entry in Shenzhen-based Infinix’s lineup is here with the Smart 5. The entry-level phone is built around a 6.6-inch IPS display and packs a triple camera setup alongside a 5,000 mAh battery. It runs the Android 10 (Go Edition) although its hardware is somewhat more powerful than its peers.
The display has HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch for the 8MP selfie cam. There’s dual LED flash sensors on the front. Around the back, we find a 13MP primary camera paired with two QVGA sensors, an LED flash and a fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood sits an unnamed octa-core processor running at 1.8GHz. There’s 2 or 3 GB RAM and 32/64GB storage, which is further expandable via microSD. The 5,000 mAh battery supports 10W charging over micro USB. The Infinix Smart 5 will be available in blue, black and green colors.
The phone will make its way to India and Nigeria soon though Infinix is not providing exact dates nor pricing for the moment.
