Welcome to another week's recap. Realme announced its 7 5G this week, aiming to deliver the best value for money on a 5G phone outside China.
Xiaomi's Mi 11 Pro specs' leaked - the phone said to have a QHD+ 120Hz display, Snapdragon 875, 120W charging, as well as a new 50MP main camera and 12MP telephoto camera. We expect the Mi 11 Pro to launch in February or March.
Launching earlier in January, the Galaxy S21 series were also in the news. The Galaxy S21 and S21+ will have FHD+ non-adaptive 120Hz displays with the same 6.7-inch and 6.2-inch diagonals as their predecessors. The Galaxy S21 Ultra will gain a 6.8-inch 1440p display with adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. The rumor that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with S Pen support has been perpetuated this week as well, which also strengthens the rumor that there will be no Galaxy Note in 2021.
All three Galaxy S21 devices will be powered by the Snapdragon 875 and Exynos 2100, depending on the market. The S21 and S21+ will have the same on-paper 12MP + 12MP + 64MP regular, ultrawide and telephoto cameras, while the S21 Ultra will receive Samsung's third-gen 108MP HM3 sensor with 12% higher light-sensitivity.
Huawei made it official that it is selling its Honor subsidiary to Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology Co.
