Say hello to the Oppo Reno4 Z 5G, known in some markets as the Oppo A92s.
It comes in a stacked retail box with an 18W charger, USB cable, proper 3.5mm earbuds and a complimentary case - not bad for just under €300.
On the rear the Reno4 Z 5G has four cameras - a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide unit and a pair of 2MP sensors for macro and depth. The front holds a 16MP main selfie camera and 2MP depth sensor to help with portraits. Video from the rear main camera maxes out at 4K while selfie video goes up to 1080p.
The display on the Oppo Reno4 Z 5G has good brightness and contrast and nicely saturated colors. Naturally it isn't as good as the OLED panels on the Reno4 and Reno4 Pro, but just like those the Reno4 Z 5G has a fast refresh rate. In fact the 6.57-inch screen of the Z goes up to 120Hz - higher than the 90Hz panels on those Reno4 Pro.
The Dimensity 800 chipset comes in a single configuration with 8GB of RAM. The chipset is comparable to a Snapdragon 765G and brings support for 5G, which in this case is only of the Sub-6 variety.
The Oppo Reno4 Z 5G isn't as well made as the Reno4 Pro 5G and uses a plastic frame instead of metal. The rear panel also doesn't have that textured finish of its more expensive counterpart, but it is frosted and looks a lovely purplish hue when light hits it from certain angles. But we'd say that the Reno4 Z 5G feels great in-hand.
We've started our review of the Oppo Reno4 Z 5G so stay tuned!
