The Samsung Galaxy M12 with model designation SM-M127F/DS bagged FCC certification last week, and now it has been certified by Thailand's NBTC as well, moving it a step closer to the launch.

The Thai regulator doesn't detail the specs of the Galaxy M12, but the smartphone was spotted on Geekbench a couple of weeks ago with an Exynos 850 SoC and 3GB RAM.
The Galaxy M12 will pack a 6,000 mAh battery, and leaked renders revealed it will sport a notched display and feature a quad camera on the back.

The M12 will also come with a side-mounted fingerprint reader and have a USB-C port at the bottom joined by a 3.5mm headphone jack.
