Welcome to another week's recap. Still a month away, the Samsung Galaxy S21 series leaked in high-quality renders, confirming a design we've already seen in previous leaks.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra will have four cameras, a glass rear panel and a curved front glass, whereas the Galaxy S21 and S21+ will retain the camera setups of their predecessors and have plastic rear panels and a flat display, like the Galaxy Note20.
We also saw the official promo videos of the Galaxy S21 series and a leak detailing the Galaxy S21 Ultra's four cameras - next-generation 108MP camera, ultrawide with autofocus, 10x folded periscope and a 3x camera.
We also saw a certification document saying the three flagships won't come with chargers and headphones in the box.
Apple finally unveiled its over-ear AirPods. Called the AirPods Max the headphones offer active noise cancelling, but don't fold, come with a purse-esque case and cost a whopping $549.
Lenovo unveiled the K12 and K12 Pro, which are rebranded Moto E7 Plus and Moto G9 Power for the Chinese market. Oppo gave us the Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G with 90Hz OLED screens, 65W charging and either a Snapdragon 765G chipset on the non-Pro and a Dimensity 1000+ on the Pro.
Coming on 24 December is the Reno5 Pro+ with a Snapdragon 865 and a 90Hz Super AMOLED display.
Those were the key stories. See you in a week!
The renders are based on reliable insider knowledge and give us a great idea of what to expect from the three phones.
You get a two-minute introduction to the headphones, as well as a shorter promo that's more like a TV ad.
The US Trade Commission and a group of 46 states accuse Facebook of using its dominance to crush smaller rivals.
The Nord is getting the full three years of support, unlike the Nord N10 and N100. There's no word on the older models.
