The iQOO 7 unveiled earlier this week went on its first sale today and iQOO announced it sold units worth more than CNY200 million, which translates to about $30.9 million.
The iQOO 7 comes in two memory configurations - 8GB/128GB priced at CNY3,798 ($585/€485) and 12GB/256GB priced at CNY4,198 ($650/€535). The phone maker didn't reveal the number of units it sold today, but assuming most people purchased the base model, more than 50,000 were moved.
The iQOO 7 is powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC, sports a 48MP triple camera, and packs a 4,000 mAh battery with 120W charging.
The smartphone features a 6.62" 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED display, and a new software update released by iQOO enables 1000Hz touch sampling rate on the screen in addition to squashing bugs and optimizing 4D vibration experience.
The iQOO 7 is offered in three colors - Black, Blue, and White. The last one is a BMW co-branded version. You can check out its unboxing video linked below.
