Xiaomi introduced the MIUI 12.5 back in December, and last week we saw a list of devices eligible for closed beta testing of the interface. While Mi users in China are already testing it, owners of Mi Note 10 Lite have started receiving a notification about an incoming software update.
The new package is bringing Android 11 with plenty of improved security features, but as is to be expected with the development of the new skin still ongoing, it is still dressed in MIUI 12.
The update is 2.3 GB in size which might be an issue for owners of the Mi Note 10 Lite with 64 gigs of storage - the phone lacks a microSD slot. Aside from the obvious switch to Android 11, there are also bug fixes, system optimization, and the latest security patch.
The Mi Note 10 Lite is a smartphone for the global audience and it should be hitting all devices around the world. Its version number is MIUI 12.1.1.0.RFNMIXM and users that don’t have it but want to push it through manually can find the package linked below.
