Yesterday Asus confirmed its upcoming ROG phone will be called ROG Phone 5 skipping the number 4, and today the company revealed the ROG Phone 5 will be unveiled on March 10.
Asus has set up an event page on its website with a countdown to the launch event. It will begin at 7PM (UTC+8) in Taipei and 12AM (UTC+1) in Berlin. And if you are in New York, it will start at 6AM (UTC-5) on March 9.

The event page doesn't divulge anything about the ROG Phone 5, but Geekbench revealed the smartphone will run Android 11 and have a Snapdragon 888 SoC at the helm with two RAM options - 8GB and 16GB.
The smartphone was also listed in TENAA's database with a 6.78" AMOLED screen, 5G support, and a dual-cell 6,000 mAh battery, which 3C confirmed will charge at up to 65W.

Do note that we are talking about the ROG Phone 5 with model code I005DA. There's another variant bearing model designation I005DB, which is expected to arrive in global markets with similar specs.

With the launch event over two weeks away, you can expect to hear more about the ROG Phone 5 in the coming days.
