We recently published our Redmi Note 9T written review and now it’s time for our video version. This is the brand’s most affordable 5G phone at just €229 but is it good enough to meet your daily needs and how does it stack up to competitors?
The Note 9T features a plastic body with a nicely textured finish on the back. Build quality feels solid and you certainly get a hefty device weighing in at 200 grams. The 6.53-inch IPS LCD is decent in daylight environments though color reproduction and peak brightness leave a little to be desired. The panel sports FHD+ resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate.
The MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G chipset paired with 4GB RAM ran all daily tasks just fine and offered similar performance to Snapdragon 690 phones that we’ve tested. Battery endurance was excellent in our time using the Note 9T as it reached an impressive 118 hours in our proprietary tests. Aronud the back, the 48MP main camera delivered good detail preservation and adequate dynamic range while preserving decent color accuracy.
