It’s slowly becoming a trend for DxOMark to publish audio reviews of unannounced phones. The latest unreleased device to get the audio review treatment is the Black Shark 4 Pro which is actually due to be announced tomorrow in China.
Starting off the review is a hardware overview of the Black Shark 4 Pro’s key specs. These include a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with punch hole cutout and a 144Hz refresh rate. There’s also the flagship Snapdragon 888 chipset alongside a 4,500 mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
On the audio side, we’re looking at a dual loudspeaker design with a bottom and top-mounted stereo setup. The phone comes with its own sound profiles for gaming, music and movies and also features a headphone jack. You also get support for the DTS, AAC and Cirrus Logic codecs.
