Just days after the first update, Asus has started rolling out another firmware for its Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip flaship duo – version 30.11.51.44 and 30.11.55.39, respectively.
The Asus Zenfone 8 gets its second firmware update
Like the first one, this one improves the camera image quality. It also fixes a thumbnail-related issue if you’re using a third-party camera app. This is a
fairly small update, weighing in at 140 MB on the Zenfone 8.
It does contain a few other important things like improving the system stability (and fixing an issue that caused notifications that can’t be dismissed). Finally, Vodafone Spain users can now enjoy VoLTE.
Here’s the full change log (it’s identical for both phones):
- Improved camera quality
- Fixed thumbnails issue in 3rd party camera
- Fixed issue where ultra durable notification could not be removed
- Enabled VoLTE on Vodafone (Spain)
- Improved system stability
