Netflix is the latest app on iOS and iPadOS devices to support Apple’s spatial audio feature. The immersive 3D surround sound feature works only on AirPods Pro and AirPods Max and recalibrates sounds constantly based on your head position relative to your device position. Users can toggle spatial audio via Control Center and initial reports have confirmed the feature is accessible on iOS14 and iPadOS 14. You should still update your Netflix app to the latest available version.
