Sony sells more than 525 million PS4 consoles, celebrates with a limited edition

Sony has sold over 525 million PlayStation 4 consoles since its introduction in late 2013. To celebrate, the company will offer a limited edition PS4 Pro and accessories.

Sony PlayStation 4 Pro 500 Million Limited Edition

The special units feature a fan-pleasing translucent shell (in dark blue), a bigger than usual 2TB hard drive, a PlayStation camera, vertical stand and a mono headset.

The PS4 Pro 500 Million Limited Edition will not move the sale numbers much, only 50,000 units will be available world wide. They’ll go for $500/€500 starting August 24. You can check

Limited edition Dual Shock 4 controller • Limited Edition wireless headset

If you want to keep your console but still celebrate the occasion, you can grab a DualShock 4 controller with the same styling as the limited edition console. These are $65/€64. There will also be a translucent dark blue/copper wireless headset for $100/€90.
