After skipping a week as we were busy roaming around the MWC grounds in Barcelona, the top 10 trending chart is back. You'd have a hard time recognizing it though - there are so many new faces on it as you'd expect after the flurry of announcements in the past 10 or so days.
The Galaxy S10+ emerged victorious from all the chaos - the de-facto Samsung flagship ended up the most popular of all. In second we find the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro, which benefited from being among the last to arrive - a bunch of phones had the peak of their interest in the last days of last week when they were announced.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, which got a new version for India is down to third, but considering the huge increase in the level of the competition that's still a great achievement.
In fourth we have another late arrival - the vivo iQOO, which edged out the vanilla Samsung Galaxy S10 and the champion from the last issue of the chart - Samsung Galaxy M20.
The foldable 5G-enabled Huawei Mate X grabbed seventh, two spots above the other flexible smartphone - the Samsung Galaxy Fold. The two $2,000+ phones are split by the modest Samsung Galaxy M30.
The last available spot goes to the Sony Xperia 1. The flagship with a 4K OLED 21:9 screen certainly has a lot going for it and it might end up being the best seller Sony's mobile division so desperately needs.
