The Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G that was announced for global markets earlier this week and went on sale in India yesterday is receiving its second software update. The first update (CPH2201_11_A.03) was released last month before the launch, which optimized the camera quality and system performance.
The new update bumps up the Android security patch level on the Reno5 Pro 5G to January 2021 and improves the system stability and performance. It also optimizes fingerprint unlocking and smoothness of the videos shot with the camera.

The new build comes with version number CPH2201_11_A.05 and requires a download of around 500MB. It's seeding in India since that's the only market where the global Reno5 Pro 5G is currently available for purchase.
The Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G is powered by the Dimensity 1000+ SoC and runs Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1. It comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, but has no microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The rest of the highlights of the Reno5 Pro 5G include a 6.55" 90Hz FullHD+ Super AMOLED screen, 64MP quad camera setup, 32MP selfie camera, and a 4,350 mAh battery with 65W charging.
