Aside from the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite, Samsung is also busy working on another, even more low-end tablet. We're talking about the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2021), the successor to the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), unsurprisingly. That model launched in March of last year, so expect to see its successor around the same time.

As we wait for the official introduction, we now get to gawk at some very rough-looking CAD-based renders of the upcoming tablet.

These reveal rounded corners, thin-ish bezels for this price point, a single camera on the back, and no physical buttons on the front. There doesn't seem to be a fingerprint sensor anywhere, which wouldn't be surprising for a budget tablet. Compared to its predecessor, it's not much of a change, design-wise. Hopefully the new stuff will be housed on the inside.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2021) is said to measure 201.9 x 125.2 x 7 mm, and those dimensions are eerily similar to the 2020 model's 202 x 125.2 x 7.1 mm. The upcoming tablet also retains its predecessor's 3.5mm headphone jack and USB-C charging port.
